May 2 – Hollenbeck Classic - no current website found - NOW CONFIRMED
Times: 0830 – 1400
Virgil / Greek Peak / Harford area
Need approx 10 operators, but will use any interested, for this event. History, until last year, was pretty low impact. Communications has been more than difficult because of terrain. Multiple freqs have been used including simplex and cross band at times. Good test of equipment and abilities. Last year we were involved in a serious accident and were able to direct rescue crew to the right location.

Please let me know via email ( kromer@zoom-dsl.com ) if you are interested in helping out.

June 26 – Tour De Cure (http://tour.diabetes.org ) (The date conflicts with ARRL Field Day. If you would like to help out and attend your Field Day event, we can assign a post for early departure)
Times: 0600 – 1700
Schuyler / Tompkins / Seneca / Ontario / Yates counties
Need approx 30-35 operators, but will use any interested, for this event. This will be the BIG ONE for this year. By the logistics of the event and course as planned, multiple freqs and modes may be required. There will at least one TEST SESSION to test the system PRIOR to the morning of the event.
This is a 100, 50, 35 and 10 mi ride and all rides will be overlapping.
I am asking everyone to find at least one more person to help us out… we need the help… PLEASE! Forward to your ham radio email lists and please pass the word. We need the help!
